Comet ISON, C/2012 S1 (ISON): Last Reported Observations Were On April 8, 2013 — From Spain.
. by Anura Guruge
These are just the observations officially reported to the MPC from a previously authenticated observatory. That it has not been observed since April 8, 2013, is not really an issue. We know it is safely past Jupiter and has yet to enter the main asteroid belt per se. So it is not in any danger. Despite our interest in ISON it is but one of many, many comets hurtling towards the Sun this very minute. So astronomers have plenty of other distractions out there.
This Observatorio La Vara, Valdes, is interesting. It is an observatory resort for ameteur astronomers. Neat. I like it. Check it out below.
